We loved the spot in the Plaka district, right near bars, restaurants, a local market, and Greco's Project for breakfast. The apartment was roomy, the bathroom tiny but with good water flow, and it was only a short walk to the Changing of the Guard at the Hellenic Parliament. Our host was really nice too.
